Kendrick releases new surprise album titled GNX and it’s bonkers. Right away the album starts off with an extremely cinematic track Wacced Out Murals. This song seems to take shots at everyone from Snoop Dog to Lil Wayne to Andrew Schultz (yes THAT Andrew Schultz). At over 5 minutes long the beat doesn’t even really drop until halfway through and even then it only seems to accentuate Kendrick’s rhyme scheme rather than provide him with a beat to bounce off of. The track Reincarnated Kendrick samples 2 Pac’s Made Brothers from Gang Related. If you’re familiar with the drama surrounding Drake and 2 Pac’s ring this song will stand out as another classic subliminal message from the one and only K Dot.
