The Kingman UFO incident is a significant event in UFO lore, taking place on May 21, 1953, near Kingman, Arizona. According to reports, multiple witnesses observed a fleet of eight UFOs engaged in what appeared to be a dogfight in the night sky. Out of these, three UFOs reportedly crashed in the surrounding area.
One of the crashed UFOs collided with a mountainside, resulting in a fire. Another was found intact in the desert, and a third crash-landed near a small reservoir. Witnesses described the craft as metallic and oval-shaped, with portholes, measuring around 30 feet wide and 3.5 feet high.
The incident remained concealed for many years, only to emerge later as a noteworthy event in UFO history. Some researchers speculate that the UFOs were affected by nearby nuclear tests at the Nevada Test Site, specifically Operation Upshot-Knothole.
