Detailed Summary

The Ängelholm incident is a fascinating UFO sighting that allegedly took place on May 18, 1946, in Kronoskogen, a forest near the Swedish town of Ängelholm. The incident was reported by Gösta Carlsson, a Swedish ice hockey player and entrepreneur, who claimed to have witnessed a UFO landing in the forest. According to Carlsson, he stumbled upon the site and saw a saucer-shaped craft on the ground. He described seeing extraterrestrial beings who communicated with him telepathically. Carlsson claimed that these beings provided him with recipes for natural medical remedies, which he later used to establish pharmaceutical companies Cernelle and Allergon. These companies became successful, and Carlsson attributed their foundations to the knowledge he received during this encounter. In 1972, Carlsson erected a memorial at the landing site to commemorate the incident. The memorial includes a concrete model of a UFO and concrete impressions that are said to represent the marks left by the landing craft. Despite the intriguing story, no physical evidence has ever been found to support Carlsson's claims, and the incident remains unverified by independent investigations.
