On November 4, 1867, James E. Beveridge, a resident of Catham, England, witnessed a large, metallic cigar-shaped object hovering in the sky. The object was reported to move slowly without sound, eventually disappearing after approximately 10 minutes. No entities or lights were seen, and no physical effects were recorded.
